At the top, you’re rewarded with a panoramic view of Coron Island and its surrounding waters. This is the perfect spot to capture breathtaking photos and enjoy the serenity of the landscape. 2. St. Augustine Church Next, visit the St. Augustine Church, a beautiful example of local religious architecture. Cashew House Store No visit to Coron is complete without sampling its famous cashew products. Stop by the Cashew House Store, where you can taste and purchase a variety of cashew nuts and other delicacies. Experience the best of Coron on our guided town tour, running from 4 PM to 8 PM! Visit iconic spots like Town Plaza, Lualhati Park, St. Augustine Church, a souvenir shop & the Cashew Factory, where you can try local treats like cashews. Take an easy trek to Mt. Tapyas, the most popular viewpoint in Coron Town, offering sweeping views over the rolling hills & a direct look towards the epic Coron Island in Palawan. The view doesn’t come easily, though—reaching the giant cross at the summit requires climbing 721 steps. In the piercing sun of Coron, this challenge leaves many drenched in sweat & gasping for breath upon reaching the top. Learn about the fascinating historical lore of Mt. Tapyas, tied to WWII, although the story remains anecdotal & unverified. End the tour with a relaxing dip in Maquinit Hot Spring (bring swimwear & a towel if you’d like to try it!). The tour includes complimentary pickup & drop-off within a 4km range of Coron Town. Optional light snacks are available for just Php 50 (~$1). Please note that the order of destinations may vary & some stops might be skipped due to bad weather or crowding for your safety.
