What People Are Saying About Melbourne
Loved it. Especially the kids and adults hanging their legs out and the view was just breath taking with the cool air brushing our hair and faces.
The tour started a bit late but it was very well organized in general. Our guide (Graham) was very friendly, his explanations were also great. It was a beautiful day, I would recommend to anybody.
Highly recommended. The guide Jeremy was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Everything was taken care of. The events were varied and supported with informed commentary. The accommodation and catering were first class and the bus was comfortable and always clean. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotels. The three day journey included visits to caves, forests, beaches and scenic locations as well as wineries. There was plenty of free time as we visited the towns along the way. Some of the sights would not have been easily found by casual tourists. Jeremy discussed options and catered to the group's interests by being flexible about other possible destinations. There were two bus groups each of 8 passengers and the routes and activities were not identical. We went from Adelaide to Melbourne.
Nice to be picked up and delivered at the hotel. The guide picked spots were we could see animals. He picked touristic attractions when there were not so crowded. Nice places to stay. I would have liked to get a written plan for the days, where to go and when, and a map over the area so we could follow where we went.
As this was a steam train experience it was a little disappointing that out of 5 hours only 30 minutes was spent on the train. However it was still an enjoyable and interesting day with very good guides who used sound knowledge and humour in the commentaries.
