Full description

Admire the rich diversity of Australia's wildlife on a guided bus tour to Phillip Island Nature Parks from Melbourne. Continue to Philip Island to watch the Penguin Parade and relax on the shores of Woolamai Beach.

Be picked up from the comfort of your accommodation in central Melbourne and hop aboard an airconditioned bus. Relax on your journey out through the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne to the small country town of Tooradin.

Continue above the top of Westernport Bay and stop at Phillip Island Koala Conservation Reserve. Get up close to local koalas in their natural bushland habitat.

Take a short drive to Phillip Island to enjoy sweeping views of Cape Woolamai and Woolamai surf beach. Walk along the beach, dip your feet in the cool water, or unwind on the beach. Make your way to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Take in views on the far western end of the island of Australia's stunning and dynamic coastline. See the remains of an ancient volcano called The Nobbies. Go along the coastline looking for wallabies in the wild on the way to the Phillip Island Penguin Parade.

Settle yourself into the little penguin’s environment as you watch them come ashore for the night, waddling next to and underneath the boardwalks. Return to your accommodation at the end of your tour.

The tour was really very nice. Everything went well, except for the 2-hour bus ride, which was a bit jerky, but I don't know if that was due to the bus, the driver or the roads. Our guide told us a lot throughout the journey and we took a break on the way there. First we went to the Koala Sanctuary, then to Pyramid Rock, to a beach and then to the Nobbies. There you had then given a certain time in which you could explore everything alone at the different places. The koala sanctuary was like walking through a forest where you had to look for the koalas in the trees. You could also photograph them. Then we went to the penguin parade. You could watch the penguins waddling from the water to their "hiding place". No photos or videos were allowed there. Overall a very nice tour. We left at around 2pm and got back to Melbourne at around midnight.

We had a really good fun ride with Vicky. She was super fun and informative. Philip island ride was the best ride for me in Aussie where you will be left in awe because of amazing beauty. We were lucky to catch beautiful rainbows, crazy cold weather, beautiful mountains, clear sky, koalas, grey goose and obviously in the end baby penguins walk while they were returning back from beach

Our guide, Daniel, was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. He even gave up his jacket to someone in the tour group who did not bring one! He also gave us tips on how to get the best experience from each destination of our tour. It was an enjoyable day despite the rain. Will definitely recommend Wildlife Tours!
