Full description

Admire the rich diversity of Australia's wildlife on a guided bus tour to Phillip Island Nature Parks from Melbourne. Continue to Philip Island to watch the Penguin Parade and relax on the shores of Woolamai Beach.

Be picked up from the comfort of your accommodation in central Melbourne and hop aboard an airconditioned bus. Relax on your journey out through the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne to the small country town of Tooradin.

Continue above the top of Westernport Bay and stop at Phillip Island Koala Conservation Reserve. Get up close to local koalas in their natural bushland habitat.

Take a short drive to Phillip Island to enjoy sweeping views of Cape Woolamai and Woolamai surf beach. Walk along the beach, dip your feet in the cool water, or unwind on the beach. Make your way to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Take in views on the far western end of the island of Australia's stunning and dynamic coastline. See the remains of an ancient volcano called The Nobbies. Go along the coastline looking for wallabies in the wild on the way to the Phillip Island Penguin Parade.

Settle yourself into the little penguin’s environment as you watch them come ashore for the night, waddling next to and underneath the boardwalks. Return to your accommodation at the end of your tour.

We went to Philip Island with Peter on Sep 9. Peter welcomed us with such a warm smile to start off with, which made a perfect start to the day tour. He is super professional and has an incredible breadth of knowledge about all the animals on the gorgeous Philip Island! We would highly recommend this tour to everyone seeking to visit the island - all the activities on the itinerary are super fun and family friendly!

Great experience which we are happy to recommend. The first stop was at Maru Koala & Animal Park. Here you could take photos with koalas (for a fee, the equivalent of 15 EUR) and feed kangaroos. A great experience. Then we drove towards Phillip Island, where we first stopped at a beautiful beach and then headed towards the Penguines Parade. A truly unique experience. Our tour guide John-Paul entertained us all day and gave us useful information. A little tip for future visitors: Pack warm clothes for the evening, it can get a bit cold on the coast even in summer =)

Organization was really fine, everything worked out and Tara was a very nice and funny guide. To watch the penguin parade was a great experience, too. So funny and cute to watch the little guys walking along the seaside to their homes. Maybe good to know: Photography is not allowed with the penguins, but at all other events it's no problem. Take warm clothes (windbreaker, scarf and cap) for the penguins, because in late evening/night it gets really cold with the wind at the beach. Not as good as expected the go-together with the Koalas. It's quite expensive to get in touch with them (~30 AUD) for a quick photo - and that's all. No option for stay longer close to them, maybe little feeding or just watch them close. And my photo wasn't that nice, too (couldn't see it before printed :\). So think about the Koala photo (you have to wait in queue -> time loss), but at all I would recommend the tour and do again :)
