Learn about the man dubbed the Ned Kelly of Victorian whisky, how Victoria – not Tasmania – led whiskey and gin production in the 19th and early 20th Century, and hear about the local distillery which was so good, its overseas owners demanded they lower their quality to stop beating foreign competitors.
