Wow, such an awesome experience! We had a blast! Highly recommend it, especially to be able to see Melbourne from a bird point of view!
we asked if we could be picked up from our hotel as it was a 40 minute walk to the Windsor hotel and they were fine with our request and picked us up a bit earlier. it was well organized with safety a priority. our pilot Dan inspired confidence and i felt safe with him in charge. Steve our driver was also great and ensured the balloon was unpacked correctly and set up. I don't like heights much but the trip blew me away flying over the melbourne CBD & MCG. the whole operation inspired confidence and i can't reccomend this trip enough !!!

Board the hot air balloon and after a short safety briefing, soar up into the sky. Admire stunning views of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Yarra River, parks, and botanical gardens from above.

See how sometimes the best light comes on cloudy days when the sun manages to penetrate and cast lovely light in different areas. With three airports, the bay to the South and a huge metropolitan area, Melbourne is a very technical location to fly over.
Watch as the pilot uses the winds at different heights to guide the flight to a safe landing spot. Balloons float in the wind so you will end up in a different location from where the flight started. Meet the ground crew at the landing spot.
Return to your accommodation in central Melbourne after the ballooning gear is put away.
