Full description
Take the worry out of your arrival at Melbourne Airport and save money on expensive taxis with the city's number one door-to-door shuttle service. Transfer to any hotel, apartment, hostel, business, or private address in the Central Business District (CBD), or the inner-city suburb of Carlton adjacent to the CBD. Relax in the knowledge that you will never have long to wait for a bus, and benefit from a service that runs approximately every 20 minutes. Sit back in comfort on the modern air-conditioned bus as it travels directly to the city center. The shared service takes a little longer than private transportation, but the low cost definitely makes up for the short amount of extra time. Trips typically take between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the location of your final destination.

Everything went fine, it just took a while until the next bus arrived to pick us up (after long flight you just want to go to the hotel instantly). Somehow the driver was confued about the vouchers (mobile and printed) but took me anyway. To find the pickup place you have to call the office (there are SIM card shops direct at the exit), but it's really just a hop from the exit, cross two lanes from the exit and turn to the left/right (depending which exit you take), and ...done! :)

Affordable airport transfer option

We were told to call the company when we were ready to leave but the guy on the line didn't seem to know of our booking. Did not take long to sort things out though. We crossed two small streets to get to the pick up bay. It was a 11 seater van with a luggage trailer attached to the back of the car. The journey was comfortable and without any problems. Recommended!

The shared taxi driver was a little hard to find and he made a mistake and dropped us off at another hotel: Another Novotel hotel instead of Novotel Central in Melboune, as there are several Novotel hotels in Melbourne. Then, it was difficult to get him back to our hotel, because he had to pick up other clients for the airport again. In the end, a race of over an hour instead of 30 minutes, as for the other customers who rode with us at the beginning. I do not recommend this activity to other people. We took at least twenty taxis directly over a 10 day trip and for the first time a collective taxi and it went badly. Armand on January 10, 2020
