During this full day tour from Melbourne, take a luxurious 3-hour sightseeing cruise to Port Phillip Bay to see the local dolphins, seals, and birdlife. Visit Point Nepean National Park, Chinaman's Hat, and Pope's Eye Marine Park on this marine adventure.
What to Expect
Experience the natural beauty of Point Nepean National Park, located at the tip of the Peninsula. Formerly closed to the public or over 100 years, Point Nepean is now open for you to walk through and discover its remarkable military history dating back to the 1880s.
Visit the seaside village of Sorrento, the picturesque playground of Melbourne's rich and famous. There you will step aboard a purpose-built luxury vessel and embark on a fun 3-hour journey into Port Phillip Bay, where you just might see some wild bottlenose dolphins and Australian fur seals! Port Phillip Bay is a nursery for wild bottlenose dolphins, and their main birthing place is off of Point Nepean. There are about 90 bottlenose dolphins living and breeding in Port Phillip Bay.
Next, visit the Australian fur seals at Chinaman's Hat, and then it's Pope's Eye Marine Park to search for the vast array of birdlife before returning to Melbourne.
