Full description

This tour departs from Melbourne and includes the very best of the region’s wildlife. Journey to the city’s most colourful attraction, the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes, for an opportunity to visit the beach and take some time to admire these historic landmarks. Take a guided tour of Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, and get an opportunity to interact with and learn about an array of Australian animals.

Hand feed the kangaroos, emus, and wallabies and learn about the numerous breeding programs undertaken here to preserve many endangered native species including Tasmanian Devils, Spotted Quolls, and Southern Hairy-nosed Wombats. Afterward, enjoy a visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies, taking in the views of Westernport Bay, Bass Strait, and Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest fur seal population. Finally, it's time for the main event. As the sun goes down each evening, the world’s smallest penguins come ashore after fishing out at sea all day. Your guide will help you get the best seats possible so you'll have a great view of the Penguin Parade.

went to brighton beach, moonlit sanctuary, nobbies and penguin parade. a little rushed for the first 2 but plenty of time for the penguin parade. at the moonlit sanctuary we went around 1pm but most of the kangaroos/quokkas/wallabies were resting so didnt get to feed many of them during the wallaby trail. great experience overall though because our guide Rachael gave us tips on some good spots and what to look out for during the penguin parade!

Fantastic trip, was able to do everything even with the later start, incredibly accommodating: was running 4 minutes late to pick up due to trains and they were able to wait for us. Our guide was lovely and we had a great time. (I would suggest bringing your own lunch as we found the lunch and dinner options at the different locations overlapped a fair bit)

Our guide Ricky was helpful and nice. Gave us some good advice to find some good seats for viewing the penguin parade. The parade in the evening was amazing. Overall it was a very nice tour. The only thing is that this's a really long tour (~14 hours), we got back to the city at ~11:30pm, but this's kind of unavoidable because the penguins don't come out until ~9pm; but otherwise if u dont mind that it'd be absolutely fine.
