Full description
Enjoy a day trip to Volubilis and Meknes, taking you on a historic trip through Morocco's rich and varied past. Explore the ancient imperial city of Meknes, which is regarded as the "Versailles of Morocco".

You will see historic attractions such as impressive walls, monumental gates, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail throughout your walking tour. At the height of its glory, Meknes was no less than 50 palaces, 20 gates, and a city wall measuring 45 kilometers in length.

Afterwards, you'll visit Volubilis, with its impressive and well-preserved Roman ruins and spectacular mosaics. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of North Africa's most important Roman sites. Travel through the holy city of Moulay Idriss, perched dramatically against the slopes of Mount Zerhon, and enjoy Morocco's dramatic landscape. Finally, you'll discover Morocco's history and culture during a sightseeing tour of Meknes, before being returned back to your starting point in Fez at the conclusion of your experience.
