Our guide Walter was amazing. The graffiti and street art was beautiful. Walter gave an important history of Colombia, Medellin, and the Comuna 13 barrio. Beautiful views of the city and a great experience. At first i thought it might be a little exploitative of the community but it was the opposite. The barrio's biggest economic powerhouse is now tourism and people were very friendly and proud of their history and the struggle of the community for human rights and dignity. Definitely recommend.

Getting to the comuna13 is hard if you’re not used to public transportation, but at the same time is an opportunity to experience the commute of the locals. The guide is excellent, very knowledgeable and was very nice. He gave us some advice for other things to do in the city

Knowledgeable guide who knows and appreciates the history of Comuna 13 and Colombia in general. Sebastian took us on the metro, the bus, the cable car and of course an extensive tour through Comuna 13 explaining how the community was able to turn a feared and neglected part of Medellin into a top tourist destination and a source for income and security for the people. I also love how the tour shows that Colombians don't all come in one shade, color or texture but in one people united by a shared Indigenous, African and Spanish culture molded into one Colombian culture.
