went to see Orangutans and we were not disappointed. lilly our guide from medan was brilliant very knowledgeable and really good company. Ruslan our guide at the park was just amazing so knowledgeable and a really nice guy. he warned before we left it was siesta time for the Orangutan and we weren't guaranteed to see them. we met a couple of people who hadn't seen any we kept going and Ruslan spotted an Orangutan high in the canopy its was really difficult to see at times but we sat it out and he eventually came down for some fruit the guid had put out. WOW what an experience it really has made coming to sumatra worth while. thank you Ruslan.

It was a very good exercise, the guide was friendly and had good information about Medan and Indonesia. and the guide in the national park was very helpful for the safety and accompanied by the jungle.

Full description

Immerse yourself in a world of Orangutans and hiking at the Mount Leuser National Park. Enjoy transportation from Medan, then hang out at the Orangutan Care Center before exploring the jungle landscape for yourself. Start with pickup at your hotel at 9:00 AM and travel up the Sumatra Highway to the Mount Leuser National Park. Enjoy a stop at the small town of Binjai. Continue through vast rubber and oil palm plantations until you reach Bukit Lawang. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the Orangutan Care Center, before starting your trek into the jungle of the Mount Leuser National Park. Explore a trail running under the shade of rain forest trees, with rewarding scenic view across the landscape. Finish your hike back with the apes of the Orangutan Care Center, before hopping back in the vehicle for your journey back to Medan. Sit back and relax, knowing you'll arrive back at your hotel at approximately 9:00 PM.

It was so cool and stunning that I definitley recommend Panorama Destination to all the people. Also our guides Mamat for the Dschungle, Ganda & Iwan for the driving are best ones. We are so lucky to get them because they made us very comfortable and familiar. We were very happy to have these three mans on our side. ☺️ and it was an absolute amazing trip and feeling that we can see the Orang Utan only a few meteres away. Also gave them a banana because Mamat has the knowledge and experience. When i come pack to 🇮🇩 i will definitley want to stay some days in the dschungle, but only with these 3 mans ☺️🥳
