From Hazyview, the tour begins as it climbs towards the town of Graskop and the southernmost point of the Blyde River Canyon. Enjoy the panorama route which encompasses some spectacular scenery. Travel along the edge of the escarpment, to look out points offering magnificent views including God’s Window, Wonder View and the Three Rondawels. Along the route, visit the famous Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers. Pilgrim’s Rest is also well worth a visit. This old mining town was established during the heady days of the gold rush in the late 1800’s, and the whole town is now lovingly preserved as a national monument. At lunchtime the tour will stop back in Graskop so you can have lunch at a restaurant, and if time permits, you can spend a while browsing in local shops or along the pavements. Street vendors sell an amazing variety of goods – from nuts and fruit to beaded necklaces and carved wooden animals. South of Graskop, where the Sabie River rises and numerous waterfalls tumble down the mountains, you will visit the beautiful Berlin Falls and Lisbon Falls on the way back to Hazyview.

Clients are picked up from their hotel or residence in Maputo City in an airconditioned vehicle. By about 07h30 you will reach the Kruger Park Gate and swap vehicles to an open-backed safari vehicle. Day 1. Depart from the City of Johannesburg to Mpumalanga the province where the sun rises at 06:00am. Stop at the town of Dullstroom known for its crystal-clear dams, fishing, and outdoor activity, for refreshments and to stretch your legs before continuing on to the Blyde River Canyon which is a 26km long Canyon located in Mpumalanga, South Africa. It is the third-largest canyon on Earth, behind the Grand Canyon and the Fish River Canyon. While at the Bylde River Canyon explore God’s Window which will be also another stop for a picturesque viewpoint. Continue on to the Berlin Falls which are a waterfall in Mpumalanga, South Africa. They are located close to God's Window and are the highest waterfall in South Africa's Mpumalanga province. Bourke’s Luck Potholes will also be being amongst the best of Mpumalanga attractions as a popular geological attraction formed by water erosion, with walkways & bridges that take one’s breath away. Experience the Three Rondavels which are also amongst the offerings. The Three Rondavels which are three round mountain tops with slightly pointed tops, remarkably like the traditional round or oval African homesteads made with local materials called rondavels. After the Panorama Route, make your way to Protea Hotel Hazyview which is where your overnight accommodation is. Day 2. Awaken at dawn and listen to the birds before driving out of camp hoping to find some of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). Enjoy a hearty breakfast, then continue to a waterhole to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds before returning to your camp for a siesta or perhaps an afternoon swim.
