1. Puerto Escondido: Oaxaca Coast Crocodile and Turtle Ecotour
Leaving Puerto Escondido behind, take a 1-hour drive away to your first stop on this ecotour of the Oaxaca coast. The adventure starts at the Laguna Ventanilla ecological park by taking a boat to discover all sizes of crocodiles, terrestrial turtle, and iguanas in their natural habitat. Marvel at the red and white mangroves, the different kinds of bird the local, and the migratory birds arriving alongside tale deer. Look out for spider monkeys freely walking around and take the chance to feed them with some fruit and veggies. Next up, move to on Mazunte where you will visit an organic make up factory run by local women. See the process of how they make their organic products from scratch. The next stop is at the National Mexican Turtle Center where you will see 7 of the 9 turtles species that the Oaxacan coast has to offer. The last stop will be at Zipolite — the only nude beach in Mexico — lined with a calm pristine beach about 40 meters wide and 2 km long. Enjoy the golden sands where you will have 2 hours to swim, relax, and eat some fresh seafood before the return journey to Puerto Escondido.
