Your adventurous Catamaran trip to Ile Aux Cerf begins with a hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce. Arriving at there at 09.15 A.M, you will board to your Catamaran to enjoy this memorable catamaran cruise from Trou D'eau Douce to Ile Aux Cerfs. The catamaran cruise starts at 09:30 a.m., departing from Trou D’eau Douce on the East coast of Mauritius. The crew members will ensure that you have an enjoyable time, and they will be happy to tell you about local tales, jokes, and to play local Mauritian music which will lift the spirits of all on board. You will start your trip with a visit to the waterfall at Grand River South East before setting sail for the island of Ile Aux Cerfs. Then, when reaching the Grand River, you will go by speed boat to visit the waterfalls which are found about 500m upstream. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall. Following the visit to the waterfall, you will head back to the catamaran. The catamaran will then sail inside the crystal-clear water of the lagoon until stopping for a snorkeling & swimming break, where breathtaking coral reefs & tropical fish are on prominent display. Arriving at the spot, you will have the opportunity to swim with dolphins which is an incredibly moving experience that will bring you into contact with strikingly beautiful scenery, unspoiled landscapes, and wonderful animals. You’ll plunge into the remarkable world of these powerful marine mammals and come face to face with the dolphins. After swimming with the dolphin, you'll be heading to the famous and natural Crystal rock. Over there, you will have the opportunity to snorkel in the pure crystal lagoon and take great pictures. The crystal rock is a beautiful natural phenomenon occurring in the southwest of the island in the lagoons of Le Morne. This subliminal rock formation sits just a couple of hundred meters away from the shore and offers a splendid view to anyone who lays their eyes on it. Visit the Original 7 Coloured Earth in Chamarel and drink in the lunar-like spectacle of red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple, and yellow sand dunes set in the middle of lush green vegetation, with the Black River mountain range in the background. On your way to 7 Coloured Earth, you can also admire the majestic Chamarel Waterfall, the tallest single-drop waterfall in Mauritius at about 100 metres high. You can also wander to the tortoise park to see the tortoises called Toto, Tizean, Rosette, Nini, Tizom and Tifam up close — a great activity for the family. Originally from Aldabra in Seychelles, the species can reach up to 1 meter in length with an average lifespan of more than 150 years. During your visit to the Geopark, you can also stop for a snack or lunch at the Coffee Shop. There you'll find themed products such as the Seven-Coloured Macaroons or Gourmet Popsicles. The Coffee Shop also serves Chamarel Coffee; the only locally grown and roasted coffee in Mauritius. Its taste is unique... maybe because it is grown on volcanic soil.

Our catamaran will drop the anchor near the islands up to where it can go as per the water depth. We shall then transport you in a dinghy to Ilot Gabriel for about more or less 45-60 minutes. Will then pick you up and bring you to the Ile Plate where we take care of you and serve you food and lunch. This is fabulous. We offer the chance not only to land on the island, but also eat on the island. Be in full rhythm and tuned to nature and green environment. Drinks also provided. After that, feel free to to snorkel as per your wish and as per your abilities and aptitudes. Relax and enjoy. Have siesta on the island before embarking again on the catamaran to sail to Coin de Mire, the third island. The catamaran will pass nearby, as close as possible. Setting foot on the island is not done. Then we continue our way. The enjoyment at sea will continue and upon arrival inland, you will be more than happy for having spent a day, unique and memorable.

Spend the day cruising through the crystalline waters off Mauritius on a luxurious catamaran. Sunbathe, swim and enjoy a tantalizing BBQ lunch on board. After a morning departure from Trou D’eau Douce, set sail on a well-appointed catamaran through the crystal-clear water of Mauritius. Bound for the stunning GRSE waterfalls, you’ll glide through the sea, taking time to sunbathe and relax on the deck of the broad catamaran. If you’re lucky, you’ll even see some monkeys on the way over. After gazing at the splendor of the waterfall, you’ll hop into the water for some snorkeling at a perfect, hidden spot. Then, indulge in a BBQ lunch on board en route to the paradisiacal Ile aux Cerfs, where you can spend some time relaxing on the pristine beach. Amble around on the tropical wonderland before heading back to the boat to head back to the dock.

After the hotel pickup, you will be visiting the town of Curepipe and Floreal. You will visit the crater of Trou aux Cerfs and the Indu temple of Grand Bassin. Here you will have the chance to learn about the Indu culture and traditions and how they persist in modern Mauritius society. From here, you will then drive to Black River, where you will be able to admire fantastic landscapes and views of the mountains. Finally you will be travelling to Chamarel, where you will visit the Waterfalls, the park of Seven coloured Earths, and pay a visit to the Giant turtles in the park. From here you will be driving back to your hotel, where you will be dropped off.

Spend a full day discovering the beautiful island paradise of Mauritius by speedboat. Depart at 09:30 am and after a short while, stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Enjoy the underwater marine life and swim amongst superb corals and brightly colored tropical fish. Continue sailing and see the d' Alblair shipwreck of 1902 on the coral barrier, and make a brief stop at the old Lighthouse island. Afterward, the speed boat will take you along the east coast and then upstream along the Grand River (the longest river in Mauritius), ending at a beautiful waterfall. Next, a BBQ of grilled chicken and fish will be served on one of the picture-postcard beaches: Île aux Cerfs Island. Île aux Cerfs Island. Here you will have the time to relax and enjoy a swim before you cruise to the last stop at Ile aux Aigrettes. At Ile aux Aigrettes you will enjoy a last drink in a natural swimming pool accompanied by an abundance of starfishes. On board, during the whole day soft drinks, local beer and rum will be available. Arrival back at the beach of Shandrani Hotel is around 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Visit La Rhumerie de Chamarel to learn about the various stages involved in making the local rum, before tasting the end product! A delicious gourmet lunch will then be served in a local restaurant. After lunch, the drive continues to Chamarel Village to admire the 90-meter high Chamarel Waterfall and the curious 7-Coloured Earth, a natural phenomenon caused when basaltic lava converts the clay mineral into vibrant shades of red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple, and yellow. Take a winding drive to the southwest corner of Mauritius, and enjoy the drive through Macondé Bridge for panoramic views across the Baie Du Cap River.
