Be picked up from your hotel in Mauritius and set off on a full-day adventure in a comfortable car. Stop by the Umbrella Square in Port Louis to amble through bustling markets that are shaded by a swathe of colorful parasols.

Head over to the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, home to some 500 species of plants from around the world, including the rare Talipot Palm, which is said to only flower once in its 60-year lifetime.

Travel to Ganga Talo, the most sacred Hindu site in Mauritius, containing a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Gaze up at breathtaking statues that stand over 100 feet tall. Next, visit 7 Colored Earth, a collection of sand dunes characterized by layers of colored sands.

Outstanding! Our driver Nitesh was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful insight into the island and her people. The places visited were varied and gave us a balanced view of Mauritius as a whole…all in the space of 8 hours. Our request for a traditional island meal for lunch was happily met. Thank you!

The tour was awesome, our guide Deepak was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a nice talk and he shared very useful and interesting information with us. We managed to visit Port Louis, the Botanical Garden, which my 5yo son enjoyed very much. And also a nice restaurant, the waterfall and the coloured earth of Chamarel. And a great viewpoint as well.
