A fun adventure to a beautiful island. Jess was a very nice guide and told us a lot of interesting stuff. The day was very peaceful and calm, but due to us being new at kayaking, it was also very funny. The mangroves are beautiful and there are a lot of fish in there. Thanks a lot for the experience :)

One of the highlights of our trip! Kayaking through the mangroves was peaceful and beautiful, and reaching Île d’Ambre felt like finding a secret island. Our guide shared interesting stories about the ecosystem and local history, and the small group size made the experience feel very special (we had a private tour with the guide Sebastian) 😎😍 A great mix of adventure and relaxation – we’d definitely do it again! Full description

Discover Amber Island from the water and on land as you paddle across the blue waters of the lagoon. The islet is known for its rich flora which creates shady waterways perfect for exploring by kayak, including the mangroves. Tour the island with a guide and learn more about its history.

Start off with a 15-minute kayak expedition from the northern coast of Mauritius (the embarkation point is Bain De Rosnay beach) towards Amber Island. During the paddle, you have the opportunity to explore a floating mangrove forest by kayak.

Upon reaching Amber Island, join a guided tour of the isle which also includes a nature walk, and see ruins dating back to 1750.

Before heading back to shore, swim in the crystalline waters of Ilot Bernache or stay dry and just take in the beautiful views.

The team of professionals will guide you and ensure your experience is safe and memorable.
