Discover Amber Island from the water and on land as you paddle across the blue waters of the lagoon. The islet is known for its rich flora which creates shady waterways perfect for exploring by kayak, including the mangroves. Tour the island with a guide and learn more about its history. Start off with a 15-minute kayak expedition from the northern coast of Mauritius (the embarkation point is Bain De Rosnay beach) towards Amber Island. During the paddle, you have the opportunity to explore a floating mangrove forest by kayak. Upon reaching Amber Island, join a guided tour of the isle which also includes a nature walk, and see ruins dating back to 1750. Before heading back to shore, swim in the crystalline waters of Ilot Bernache or stay dry and just take in the beautiful views. This tour is experienced via kayak and a small boat depending on your level of comfort and fitness. The team of professionals will guide you and ensure your experience is safe and memorable.

An amazing day, well worth the time and money. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience so much fun. We had a few stops to take in the views and found a great spot for a swim. Wet bags were provided for your phones and personal belongings which was very handy. Don't forget your sun cream.

Die Guides sind super sympathisch und Christopher hat uns während der Tour so viel über die Mangroven und die kleine Oase, diesen ruhigen Natur belassenen Teil seiner Heimat gezeigt. Ein toller ganz privater Einblick, der uns sehr viel wert ist, wenn man in die Ferne reist und wahrscheinlich nicht allzu oft wieder kommen kann.
