Experience true Hawaiian-style touring while learning about Hawaiian culture, history, myths and legends from a knowledgeable and fun local guide. Start your day with a light breakfast of fresh fruit and locally made pastries. Then begin your Maui adventure along the road to Hāna, from town to country, through valleys and rainforests. Wind along the spectacular coastline through 617 curves and across 54 one-lane bridges.   Stop for photo opportunities along the route, which will take you past beautiful coastline, spectacular waterfalls and remarkable cliffs. You will also have the chance to cool off and have a swim at one of Hawaii’s unique white, red, and black beaches.   After a laid-back Tahitian BBQ lunch, dive deeper into the island’s soul and traverse Maui's rural and unpaved "other side," stopping at small towns and villages. Get to know the locals, see their tropical fruit farms and small businesses, and get insider insights into traditional Maui life from your local guide. Kammy was great. So much knowledge about Hawaii's history, not just Hana and the trip itself. I was so glad we decided to join a tour, as the drive looked very challenging. We hit all the highlights you'd expect on the Road to Hana: rainbow eucalyptus trees, breath-taking views, waterfalls and swimming holes, the black sand beach, and banana bread.

This was a great tour. Kammy was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. I definitely wouldn't want to drive that road myself. I would suggest eating breakfast first. We were served cakes and fruit but they were spread throughout the day as snacks and not served as breakfast. The lunch was delicious. I had the grilled mahi. It was supposed to be 10 hrs but ended up being 12.5 hrs. It was a little frustrating getting back so much later than expected. I highly recommend this tour just don't have plans afterwards.

Kammy was our driver and had a great knowledge of Island history. He was helpful and polite and a great deal of fun. He put in an extra long day with our group and saw to all our needs. I would recommend Kammy as the driver any time. The food was great and the Salmon was fantastic. Wish I could reach him for even more of a tip. Gave him all the cash I had left.
