From Ka'anapali: West Maui Half-Day Snorkel Tour w/ Food

So worth it! The guides were all super friendly and helpful. We went to two great snorkeling spots, though the second one wasn’t as good as the first. I got to swim right next to a group of sea turtles, so it really doesn’t get any better than this! They also had an underwater photographer onboard, and you have the option to buy a photo package (pricing varies by group size). We were initially looking for a snorkel tour to Molokini but decided to book this one since it was right next to our hotel. All the Molokini tours left from Maalaea Bay, which would have been an hour drive each way. If you are staying in West Maui, I’d highly recommend this tour. There is no need to waste 2 hours in a car to do one of the Molokini tours. Another plus of this tour: there were no other boats around when we went snorkeling! Based on the number of tours I’ve seen to Molokini, I bet it is a lot more crowded there, so you may not see as much sea life.

We had an amazing day! Crew members Tommy, Cole, and Captain Kari (sp?) were fantastic! Shortly after we set sail we saw whales breaching and bottle nose dolphins. Most tours that include breakfast & lunch are usually continental & lunch is a sandwich. On this tour breakfast buffet included white rice, scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage. The crew catered to our every need. On our first snorkeling spot we saw so many fish and even a turtle! Their colors were bright & beautiful! Lunch: BBQ chicken, Caesar salad, pasta salad, roll and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Open bar on the way back! A great ending to an incredible day!
