It was various, with a personal approach to each person. We didn't really enjoy the quad, and the whole dune area was more just a beginning of the dessert, the real dunes are much further, but the camel ride we appreciated, they are very cute animals. The 4x4 ride was the most wohoooo activity, it made our blood rush and feel the energy of the desert. Mohamed - our guide, is a poliglot, he spoke for each group of language: german, french and english. He made sure to show us the whole image of Tunisia. Our accomodation for the night was a beautiful 4* hotel at the gates of the dessert, with tunisian decor, an individual shisha room, hammam, gardens inside and really cheap prices for the drinks. My boyfriend even managed to organise at place with the restaurant staff a birthday surprise for me. There were lots of toilet breaks, so no problem even if the ride is long. If you come to Tunisia, it's not only totally worth to make this trip, I'd say - mandatory! We absolutely loved it!
Mohammed our guide and Tarek our driver were amazing. I was on a solo trip and Mohammed was very attentive and even helped me meet new friends during the journey. They got us to every destination safely and they were super organized! I would 100% recommend to include this in your itinerary :)
