Gaetano is an amazing tour guide, and if you want to book a tour in Sassi di Matera to delve deep into its history and beauty, then I can highly recommend doing his! By the end of the tour we were in awe at everything we had learned. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions as they will all be answered with so much knowledge. Gaetano is very professional and great at his job, as well as being very funny which made the tour so much fun. Would give 11/10 to this experience if we could. Grazie mille Gaetano!

Pasquale was an excellent guide and very informative which made the tour much more worth it! highly recommend this tour 🫶🏼 The driver was also very kind and it was also an organized tour even though the driver took the wrong route for Matera, it was still worth it ❤️ For that person who wrote a bad review about Pasquale, she ruined the tour for us and not him as he is very intelligent.

I highly recommend this tour! I took the English tour, and the guide provided an in-depth history of Matera, uncovering its secrets and explaining how people lived in the past with incredible detail. His English was perfect, making the experience even more enjoyable. A must-do for anyone visiting Matera!

Lots of information about life in the caves and the architecture. The tour was 2 hours, not 2.5 hours, which might have allowed us to see a bit of Matera Barioso.
