Our guide Maria knew Sassi Di Matera very well. Historical information was very interesting and she showed us great best places for views and further sightseeing. I’d recommend doing this walking tour on the day you arrive like we did. It was so helpful to get your bearings as the Sassi is like an ancient maze!
Excellent! Our guide Guiseppe was super knowledgeable and made the tour fun with his light hearted joke attitude. I would highly recommend. You get access to am old cave church you can't visit without a tour guide, which was super interesting.
