Angela was a wonderful guide, and we were so happy to be her first group after the region turned yellow. She met us early at the station after I told her about our travel plans. We had a lovely several hours and got so much information from her about the history of Matera. It came with entrance to one of the cave dwellings. I would recommend this tour.

Excellent walking tour of Matera. Incredibly informative and entertaining way to hear about the history of this interesting city from a local. Matera is a fascinating city but without a guide, we just would’ve wandered with no idea what we were looking at. 100% recommended!

Our Tour Guide Angela was very sweet and friendly. She was knowledgeable about the city and its origins. She was patient and listened to all of our questions and was easy to understand and communicate with!! We highly recommend her to anyone who is planning on visiting.

Our guide Angela was very knowledgeable and even spoke excellent English. She even waited 30 minutes for us until we finally found a parking spot, without ever rushing or shortening the tour afterwards. Great experience.
