It was raining hard in Jerusalem the day I joined the tour (February) - however, don't be discouraged because Dead Sea is generally warmer, it is a completely different world across the desert. It was sunny and I enjoyed a 19-24 degree when we arrived the Dead Sea, it was raining horribly again in Jerusalem so it is kind of lucky to be out of the city on a rainy day. However, appreciate a slightly more time at the Dead Sea because we had about 70 minutes to grab lunch + head to the beach. It was too rush.

We had a good time and although our tour guide Yana was lovely, funny and good company - her organisational skills need improving unfortunately. Upon arrival at Masada - she told us all just to go in and purchase our tickets but at the ticket desk, we were all told that we needed a reference number to show that we had pre-booked. This resulted in a panicked call by Yana to her office to get the number and all of us waiting around in a busy reception area. Having done this trip a lot - she should have known better. The Ein Gedi national park was nice and also the Dead Sea but before each experience - there was no explanation or detail about what we were about to encounter. For example, the Ein Gedi waterfalls were fine for fit, mobile people but there were a number of elderly people on our tour who struggled with the rocky terrain. This should have been pointed out in advance. On a more positive note - the driver (Sammy) was excellent and so helpful.

Well organised trip on the day. Would be helpful to have more info in advance such as what to bring, what to expect, what time trip returns etc. received some of this but only the evening before the trip which didn’t allow for much planning. Tour guide very knowledgeable and friendly, would be great if she could allow a bit more space for questions from the group. Bus was comfortable and cool, excellent driving. Dead Sea experience was fabulous, great to have done it.
