We really enjoyed the trip, which showed us much more than just the historical destinations and lakeside town of Shkodra. Our guide Gazi was really knowledgable about the history of the sites, as well as sharing a lot of stories and insights about modern Albania. We also saw a lot of dramatic countryside and mountains. Really recommend this as a good day out and an excellent guide.

We liked the Venetian mask factory the most, but the landscape is of course beautiful too! Many thanks to the great tour guide, he explained a lot to us and took us to a great restaurant for lunch! Since we were alone in the taxi with him, he could have picked us up directly from our accommodation... But otherwise everything was great!

Guide was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us entertained. Traffic was horrible so might be better to leave earlier to allow for it. Shkoder castle at sunset was magical but only because we were there very late (16:00) when it was officially closed (but they let us in anyway). Good trip.
