Before booking, check the weather in Kutaisi, as boat trips may not be available in case of rain. Start with a transfer from Tbilisi to West Georgia, a 4-hour drive where you can rest along the way. Your first destination is the Martvili waterfalls in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region. Martvili's beauty will mesmerize you with sensational waterfalls and a boat trip on the deep green river. Glide through the canyon's moss-covered walls, surrounded by brilliant scenery. Martvili Canyon is a fantastic place for an adventure with family, friends, or co-workers. Next, visit Kumistavi, also known as Prometheus caves, famous for its legend about Amirani. The cave offers spectacular views of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers, and cave lakes. The cave is adorned with colorful lights, creating a magical atmosphere ranging from orange-red to pink and blue. Enjoy ample time to explore both places before concluding the tour at 18:00 in Kutaisi/Kutaisi airport or at around 23:00 in Tbilisi, Rose Revolution Square. The tour begins at 09:00 from our office in Kutaisi, where we gather for an exciting day ahead. Our first destination is the majestic Okatse Canyon, Georgia's deepest canyon. It features hanging bridges and skywalks offering unparalleled views of the canyon below. Access to the bridges is available via a scenic 6 km trek or an adventurous off-roading taxi ride. Following Okatse Canyon, we proceed to the breathtaking Martvili Canyon. Here, we embark on a boat tour that navigates through the canyon, allowing us to explore its depths and admire stunning waterfalls. An optional zip line offers a thrilling aerial perspective of the canyon's beauty. After these exhilarating explorations, we take a leisurely break for lunch at a local restaurant, indulging in delicious Georgian cuisine and preparing for the the final part of the tour ahead. Our final stop is the magnificent Prometheus Cave, an underground marvel stretching 1.4 km and located 80 meters below the surface. The cave showcases stunning formations and includes a unique Hall of Love, where couples have even tied the knot. Visitors can enjoy a serene underground boat ride or opt for an open-air boating experience, ensuring a truly unforgettable visit. As the day draws to a close, we return to Kutaisi around 19:00, filled with cherished memories and a profound appreciation for the natural wonders we've encountered throughout the day. In the morning, our guide will meet you at the meeting point and you will start a tour of beautiful natural monuments near Kutaisi! First, you will visit Martvili Canyon, enjoying views of the mountain river, natural stone bridges & waterfalls. One of the top highlights at Martvili Canyon is the short boat ride (approx. 15 min.) in the turquoise river, where you'll enjoy close views of the canyon & maybe spot fishes in the clear river water. Note: Boat service doesn't work if the water level is too high or the currents are too strong, usually it could happen in spring or after heavy rain. You will drive to the Okatse Canyon, here you will hike approximately 2.5 km from the ticket office to the canyon entrance, on a stone paved road through Duke's Dadiani forest. You will walk 900 steps on a panoramic hanging bridge & enjoy views of nature, especially in the spring and summer seasons, surrounded by lush green forest. After taking beautiful photos and a short rest on the panoramic bridge, you will continue hiking back 2.5 km approximately to the car. Note: You can rent a 4x4 vehicle for an extra fee from the visitor center to the canyon entrance if you don't wish to hike, but will have to wait for the rest of the group at the visitor center. After visiting the canyon, you will have the possibility to have a traditional Georgian sweets "Churchkhela" masterclass free of charge (if the local Churchkhela factory will be open). You will take the car to the spectacular Prometheus cave, where you will walk in a beautiful stalactite and stalagmite cave on an easy 1,5-kilometer route with impressive natural halls, here the group will be accompanied by the local guide, who will tell us in detail about the cave. Before returning to Kutaisi you will have a short stop at once famous and now-abandoned Tskaltubo Sanatorium or a bathhouse where Soviet leaders once used to relax (please keep in mind that some Tskaltubo sanatoriums are being sold and entrance might be restricted). After an active day, in the evening you will come back to Kutaisi, drop of at the meeting point.

Start with pickup from the activity provider's office at midday. Hop on onboard a comfortable vehicle for the scenic transfer through the Georgian countryside. Stop at the beginning of the Martvili Canyon hiking trail. Venture through dense foliage that turns fantastical colors in autumn. Buy a ticket for the boat and take in the area's lush landscapes and waterfalls from the water. Stop at a restaurant along the way where you can refuel with a delicious lunch. Continue to Prometheus cave which is 80 meters below the surface and 1.4 kilometer's long. Purchase a ticket and enter the cave to see curtains of stalactites and stalagmites that are lit with bright colors. Buy a ticket for a boat and go on a short subterranean cruise. Reflect your incredible journey as you make the return journey to the vehicle and transfer back to your meeting point in Kutaisi.

Martvili Natural Canyon is located in Martvili Municipality. Visitor centre: Village “Inchkhuri”. 700m circle stone pavement starts from the visitor centre and goes through Dadiani historical track. There are located 2 bridges, 3 view platforms, a 30-step historical staircase built by the big limestone boulder. The visitors can saunter by boat on the river “Abasha” 300 m. long distance and get the pleasure of viewing the beautiful landscape of the Canyon.

After our canyon exploration, we'll take a break for lunch at the charming Sweet Village restaurant, indulging in delicious Georgian cuisine to recharge for the rest of our journey. After the canyon, we'll explore Prometheus Cave, going 80 meters underground. Enjoy a boat ride through its passages, with magical music and lighting creating a captivating atmosphere. As the day ends, we'll head back to Kutaisi, then take another vehicle to Batumi. Reflect on the day's best moments as we return, saying goodbye to a day filled with unforgettable adventures. Prometheus Cave may regard as the visit card of Georgia. The magic cave is full with stunning curtains of stalactites and stalagmites. While visiting, once again it will convince you about existence of the fairy world. Enjoy first hanging trail called Okatse Canyon and have a feeling as if you are walking 2-3 hours directly in the sky. The pedestrian trail passes through Dadiani historic forests, thus enjoy hiking and 780 meters length hanging trail. The last destination is a panoramic view, where visitors have chance to take photos by smart camera installed on the area. Martvili Canyon is located in the village Inchkhuri. 700 meters circular hiking trail starts from the visitors' centre and passes through Dadiani's historic walkway. There are 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and 30-step historic staircase that is built from limestone staircase. Here you have the opportunity to take a trip by boat, 300 meters (one way) section of Abasha and enjoy the beautiful views of canyon.

Important: Okatse Canyon is closed till the end of May. Alternatively we may visit Okatse waterfall or Sataflia natural reserve. See the most spectacular canyons in Georgia on a day tour from Kutaisi. The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel, so you don't have to worry about finding a meeting point. First Stop - Okatse Canyon. Main sightseeing is the hanged bridges over the Canyon. Total length of the bridge 900 meters. Total distance to walk 1500 meters including the trail back. The Next stop is Martvili Canyon, which is about 1 hour drive from Okatse. At Martvili Canyon they offer 2 kinds of activities. 1. Walking along the waterfalls - main ticket and (2) boating through the Canyon, which is optional. At the time of rain, boating is not available. Walking distance is 700 meters and takes about 40-50 minutes. Boating - 20 minutes. Close to 4 p.m. we reach Prometheus Cave. They offer 2 kinds of activities. Walking through Cave, which takes approximately 1 hour and optional boat ride - 15 minutes. At the end we will stop at the Abandoned Sanatorium of Soviet Times in City of Tskaltubo, once famous Spa Resort.
