Full description
Start your day with a pickup service from your downtown Boston hotel in a 14 or 25-person mini-coach. Begin the 1.5-hour journey to the ferry in Falmouth, Cape Cod. Along the way, enjoy complimentary snacks and bottled water while reading over the Martha’s Vineyard guidebook provided to help you plan out your 6 hours on the island. Avoid the lines at the ferry ticket window, pick your seat, and relax on the 35-minute ferry ride. Once you arrive, prepare to explore the beautiful island either on your own or on a 3-hour guided tour. If you choose to enhance your trip with the 3-hour guided tour, get ready to learn about the island while visiting most of it. If a tour is not for you, then simply choose the option without the 3-hour narrated tour. Whichever you choose, you will also be provided a discount card that is valid at some island restaurants and local attractions. Be sure to visit the amazing gingerbread cottages in the town of Oak Bluffs. The town of Edgartown is known for its whaling captains' homes and quaint downtown shops. The breathtaking Gay Head Cliffs and lighthouse in the town of Aquinnah are a must-see while visiting Martha's Vineyard. For all you 'Jaws' fans, this is the island where it all began. Bike and jeep rentals are available for purchase, or use public transportation to see the island. After your day on Martha's Vineyard is complete and you return on the ferry, sit back and relax on your comfortable minibus ride back to Boston.

Our guide knew so much about the island. He gave us incredible information about each area we toured as well as making sure we had bathroom breaks, and time to walk around some interesting areas. He gave us great lunch recommendations and made sure we knew exactly when and where to catch the ferry back! We even enjoyed our van trip to and from the ferry pier in Falmouth.

Tour guide, Chris & Tom, were friendly and very knowledgeable. Weather was a bit gloomy & rained a bit while we were on the island but it was still a nice trip overall. Recommend taking the 3-hour island tour especially during off-season as rental options may be limited. Ruby & Gabor USAF fr JBMDL, NJ

I booked this in August, spoke with a live person 2-3 times about our pick up area yet the night before the trip I received an e- mail that they needed a pick up area or the tour could be cancelled! I replied of course. The next morning I found out the eMail address was no good! I was not happy, we had to meet the van at 6 am! It was then about 4. BUT, they do have a twenty four hour phone number and they did answer! Caught the van ,had an excellent trip to the ferry, with a great driver, Keith, We had not signed up for the island tour, opting to get a car. But we received vouchers for the tour. After Keith contacted the office, we did go on the tour. Fantastic decision, we would have been lost on our own, not a clue where to go, the tour was educational, and eye opening. NOW, the tour was over booked, and the mode of transportation was a school bus, an old school bus! To correct this, they brought in an additional van. We quickly “ volunteered “ for the van!
