What people are saying about Marseille
Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. He shared information about Marseille during the drive to the countryside. We saw multiple lavender fields, lookout points with plenty of time for pictures. The two villages were a great part of the trip as well-each with its own character and charm. There was enough time to eat, shop and explore. We had thought about renting a car but saw much more of the region with the tour!
Grazie, Florence!
Marseille is a nice port to visit and Cassis is a picturesque village which we could not get enough of. The guide was very nice and friendly and very knowledgable not only about the areas we visited but all of provence. We had a rainy day but it still was splendid. The boat tour was great as well.. those beautiful calanques and blue sea!
The driver was very nice and knowledgeable. We were able to go to cap canaille and had amazing views before heading down to Cassis. There was ample time for a boat ride through the calanques and a wander around the pretty town. The driver answered any questions that we had and was helpful in advising of other places to go.
It was an enjoyable and hassle free way to see some of Marseilles considering the volume of traffic in the city and the drive to Cassis provided some nice views. The boat ride was very good as well. Overall a great way to see the area. Our guide provided us with a memorable experience.
