Great experience to visit Calanques. The bikes were in good condition: it withstood road, gravel, and sandy paths going to the park. The guide, Cyrill, explained each path we were gonna take and recommended the e-bike mode to use in each section. There were ascents and descents alike, some were near cliffs so you have to take extra caution since there could be incoming cars as well. Cyrill gave us ample time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. We first were given time to trek through Monkey Bay, and we had free time (30 mins) to bathe in the creek too. It took us 3 and a half hours to finish the entire tour. Lucky me as I was able to join a group who rides bikes fast enough.
I slightly underestimated how much work was involved with this tour. But it was fabulous. The swim was definitely needed. Recommend bringing plenty of bottled water and a snack for the stop by the water. The bikes were in excellent condition and worked well. Our guide was knowledgeable and would ensure everyone knew how to use the gears. He also held back to make sure everyone was safe and would double back if anyone needed assistance.
