Full description

Embark on a boat tour from Marseille's Old Port. Glide along turquoise waters as you sail around the Frioul Islands. Contemplate the magnificent Château d'If from the sea, the fortress that inspired Alexandre Dumas' famous novel, The Count of Monte Cristo.

Begin your tour by setting sail from the Old Port of Marseille. Admire the pristine waters as you approach the Frioul Islands and the tributary creeks along the coastline. As you reach the main island, disembark for 1 hour and 45 minutes to discover the port and break for refreshments ou même prendre le bain si vous le souhaitez.

Continue your tour back on board with a passage from the boat and without stopping by the Château d'If, a historic fortress built by François I between 1528 and 1531 and immortalized in the novel The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.

Next, admire the beauty of Degaby Island, a gift from a wealthy industrialist to his wife, Liane Degaby, who was a great artist of the Belle Epoque. Finally, soak up the serene surroundings of Malmousque Cove.

Tout simplement dépaysant. Voir Marseille depuis l’eau vaut le détour. Guide très sympathique et compétent. Que vous soyez en famille , entre amis , ou bien seul(e) allez y ! Petit conseil au retour évitez la place arrière gauche si vous ne voulez pas finir un peut mouillé ( rien de bien méchant juste rafraîchissant )

El viaje fue excelente! Nuestro guía nos explicó todos los puntos importantes del recorrido y su historia en inglés , algo que agradecimos mucho. El fue muy amable y totalmente recomiendo tomar este tour. Llegando al destino nos metimos al mar un rato, lleven tenis ya qué hay muchas piedras en el camino para bajar al mar, después caminamos por todo el lugar. El tiempo fue más que suficiente. Nos encantó el recorrido.

Merci Eric pour ce moment si agréable! Quel plaisir de découvrir Marseille et ses environs (Frioul, château d’If…) depuis la mer! Eric est un guide très sympathique, qui aime sa ville. Balade idéale, presque privée puisque que nous étions seulement 6 personnes à bord. Je recommande vivement cette activité et plutôt en début de séjour car Éric est aussi de très bon conseils sur ce qu’il y à découvrir et à manger dans les environs!! Pauline et Marielle
