The first part of our half day e-bike tour or Marseilles was fantastic. Sindy our guide was knowledgable and friendly and we felt safe in her care. The second part was less interesting as included showcasing some local artisanal crafts (olive oil chocolate and soap) which we had already had chance to see ourselves previously. We went swiftly by the largest cathedral and would have preferred a stop there instead. However the rest of the tour was well worth it and thoroughly enjoyable.

I really enjoyed it. The bike company was great. The electric bikes were good. The guide was very good and super nice. The places we visited were interesting. There were only two things to keep in mind. It was 90 degrees in July and it was hot. The wind from riding was cooling but it was still pretty warm to do a half day 5 hour ride from 10-3pm. The second thing is be sure everyone is proficient at riding a bike. You ride in a bike lane mainly on roads with cars and buses and mopeds inches away from you passing you at much faster speeds. You’re may need to think and move fast if a car door opens or make tight corners at times to stay on the road or path. If you feel good about sometimes riding on the road and feeling hot in the sun- this tour is for you! The only thing I can recommend to the bike company is ask guides to try to stop in shade if possible when describing history or facts instead of baking in the sun. Enjoy!
