Jade was a wonderful guide and led on a fantastic hike through the Calanques. She told us a lot about the history and geography of the area and had a lovely selection of snacks for us to enjoy during the swim! She was great at adjusting her pace too when some people asked to take it a bit slower given the hot weather. I will say these hikes are certainly challenging, even more so in intense heatwave, so bring lots of water, sun protection, and proper hiking shoes!

Leave from noisy city to the calm of the Aix Mariseille University Campus, at the gates of the Calanques National Park. Be stunned by the creeks of Saint Jean de Dieu and Sugiton, Morgiou or Sormiou depending on the season and weather forecast.

A breathtaking panoramic view will be the backdrop to your hike, where you can expect to take pictures and make the most of this magical moment with a picnic. Enjoy free time to swim in the clean water before heading back.

Guide will meet you in front of the fine arts school (Ecole de Baux Arts de Marseille) at 8h55 Bus access: Bus number B1 from Castellane Metro station, stop at Luminy campus. Make sure that you have the ticket or cash to buy it. 3.5€ (round trip) If you have used a metro ticket it still works within an hour. If you have a 24-hour or a week pass it also works. For those coming by car, you can park in the parking lot of the architecture and fine arts school on the Luminy campus. 184 Av. de Luminy, Marseille. You have a huge free parking car available just in front of the entrance of the park.

  • The reservation could be canceled if the minimum number of participants (4) is not reached or the weather conditions are not favorable
  • Minimum fhysical conditions required as we'll have a height difference of 200m (50 floors bulding average) in 1 hour walk
  • This hiking could be very challenging under summer temperature and heat waves. Its difficulty increses in 3 to four times compared with the reste of the year (sept to may)
