What people are saying about Marseille

Too long should have been 9 and a half hours ended up 11 hours.

We missed a reservation at Chez Fonfon because we got back at 7.30 the time of our reservation. The tour started at 8 and I was told it would be 9 and a half hours. We should have got back at 5.30. Don’t know why the guide Virginie spent so long in certain villages eg 2 hours in Gordes. Not long enough in some towns with more to see and do and too long in villages where little to do. Went to Marseille to eat Bouillabaisse and missed that experience because of bad timing. Also the guide should not ask for a tip that should be at the discretion of clients. Loved seeing all the villages but if the guide had stuck to the timetable we would have been able to eat Bouillabaisse. We hit the traffic jam coming back because she left too late. Disappointed in all and very tired at the end of the day.

Nice places to visit, not the best schedule

The trip was very interesting, but I think there should be more time to visit Avignon rather there spending an hour in Les Boux or watching the Roman Pont du Gard, which you could do in 15 minutes. Very dissappointing wine tasting; the sommalier was extremely unfriendly, not explaining anything about wines we were trying. I guess they think their wines are so good and famous that they don't need any marketing, but what she was presenting was in fact anti-marketing. It spoilt somehow the overall impression of the trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in the Provence countryside. Thank you.

Our guide, Ginny (Virginia), was very friendly and informative. She made the journeys in between the locations fun and was very happy to answer questions etc. Each location was worth stopping at although it would have been nice to have longer in the village near the Quarry of Lights. But overall it was very enjoyable and we are glad we signed up.

Awesome views and great places to visit!

Marseille is a nice port to visit and Cassis is a picturesque village which we could not get enough of. The guide was very nice and friendly and very knowledgable not only about the areas we visited but all of provence. We had a rainy day but it still was splendid. The boat tour was great as well.. those beautiful calanques and blue sea!

Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide

It was an enjoyable and hassle free way to see some of Marseilles considering the volume of traffic in the city and the drive to Cassis provided some nice views. The boat ride was very good as well. Overall a great way to see the area. Our guide provided us with a memorable experience.
