I bought the 48-hr City Pass, however, it takes about a day to get situated with the new surrounding in addition to first picking up the pass, going to the individual activity desk for ticket, etc so you don't make use of the Pass on the first day. I would say add an extra day to the Pass for the first day orientation. I used the City Bus system which is great and then saw a Metro train, which I did not have time to try. MUCEM museum was a treat and the historic fort with surrounding water, yacht/boating view experience was all incredible. With my Pass, I actually went to the Notre Dame Basilica on the hilltop three times since the panoramic view over different times of day was exceptional. Also, their Restaurant is lovely with authentic unique French cuisine and service. Marseille is a great discovery for me in terms of culture, water sports, dining experience, etc. The 2024 Olympics brought me here but I get the feeling that I will be coming back for future visits.

The city pass gives direct access to all public transport and to the various attractions except that it has to be validated at their respective ticket offices. This process was fairly seamless and at one tour our city pass gave us access to a priority line. Would definitely recommend.

72hrs City Pass is worth to have it. Apart from we got a free day trip, but also we can get in the boat in earlier than normal tickets. It helps us to find perfect seats on the boat for sightseeing. Wonderful!

Very interesting; very nice place, nicely decorated and the museum is very well built. The host was very pleasant. The tasting was the cherry on the cake.

Getting around was definitely easy with the city pass. Didn’t have to pull out a credit card and frequency of transportation was wonderful.
