This was a cute activity to do. It was great value for money and a chill day away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The guides were helpful and kind and made the experience great. You get to keep whatever you create which is good as you get a little souvenir to take home. Definitely recommend ☺️

This was such a fun activity for my family and I! I wasn’t sure if it would be suitable for my 4-year old daughter but everyone was so helpful and took the time to work with us individually. We ended up being a little late due to having a hard time getting our transportation lined up but they still welcomed us when we arrived and we were able to get the full experience. They played great music during our class! This was definitely worth the money and I would do it all over again!

Full description

Discover different shaping techniques in an authentic Moroccan pottery workshop. Sculpt your creation as it turns on the traditional potter's wheel and master the technique of molding.

Begin with a 15-minute demonstration before trying hands-on modeling. Create a cup, box, or tagine, or try wheel throwing with the pottery machine. Then, take a break midway to enjoy a refreshing cup of tea. Throughout the class, make several pieces on the potter's wheel and in modeling.

After the session, you can take your creations with you in a practical bag. Let them dry at home for a day, then paint them once they have hardened. If you are staying in Marrakech for at least six days after the workshop, you can have your pieces fired.

Hard to find and quite expensive for a taxi ride from the Valeria Nadine resort we paid (£40.66 which is 500 MAD) once we were there we were greeted amazingly talked through every step and always had help when needed. We also got to learn the wheel for pottery which made the experience super fun. There was many pattern options and cut outs for your pottery pieces definitely recommend the experience its self. But £35 is quite a lot for a couple pieces of pottery. Thank you for an amazing time.
