Our pick up driver Hisham damou was amazing and was able to take us back to our hotel, where as originally we had to be picked up from a different place due to the hotel not being on the map. On the trip we saw some amazing views but I would take really good hiking boots as the trail isn't easy and definitely not good for people with any mobility issues. We wasn't told there would be a hike down the cliff to the waterfall so hadn't prepared our selves, including my partner who is still recovering from knee surgery 6 months ago. Over all the trip was amazing but want to warn others about the walking. Our guide Ibrahim was amazing at helping us down and making sure we didn't get hurt.

Prompt pick up from the hotel, driver was good- no problems. Our guide, Ibrahim, was very friendly and knowledgeable about local area and Berber culture. The walk down was a little difficult/uneven, we saw monkeys (great photos- Ibrahim managed to get some treats so we didn’t have to buy peanuts) and stopped at a Berber house/coop. At the bottom we got on a boat (aka big raft with seats). our ‘driver’ was great- we got right up close to the falls. My partner went for a swim- the water is cool, not too deep (she was able to touch the floor in a few places) the rocks are slippery to get out, but not something you can do at home so jump right in (literally! Ibrahim showed her where she could jump safely). Then lunch- (kebab or tagine, with salad, bread and fruit for 120dr) The walk back up is level and apart from being uphill quite easy.. Though the journey to the falls is a little long (about 3 hrs from the palmerie) well worth it! not a difficult hike but still an adventure! Just go!
