Karim was an excellent guide. Lots of interesting information throughout the trip - from history to agriculture! Essaouira was gorgeous and it was great that Karim was able to rearrange the schedule to get the best of the surf conditions. A fantastic way to see another part of the country and catch some waves Thanks Karim!

We had an amazing trip to Essaouria with our tour guide Karim. The night before we were at a wedding until very late and we were so tired that we didn't want to go. But the trip was totally worth it!! First, Karim was an awesome guide! He was so chill, knowledgeable, and had traveled all around the world on amazing adventures. His stories were entertaining, to say the least! :D We stopped to snap a photo of the goats in the tree. When we got to Essaouira, we ate at a local cafe that served bread and the yummiest and most natural butter and honey. Then we checked out the beach with camels and kiteboarders. But due to the windy conditions, we settled on a more protected break and surfed for hours. Afterwards, we explored the town, which was beautiful and historical and down to earth. On the ride home, we stopped to watch the Fantasia for awhile. Both my husband and I LOVED it! <3

Full description

Depart from Marrakech at 9:00 AM from your accommodation and enjoy the sights on the way to Essaouira. Your friendly and knowledgeable driver will provide opportunities for beautiful photo stops along the way. Visit one of the local female co-operatives to see the production of the famous Moroccan Argan oil. On arrival to Essaouira, you will begin the 2 hour surf lesson. After a lunch break you can explore the city and check out the fishing port of Scala, and its old town with its thuya wood workshops. Depart Essouira around 4:00 PM and enjoy the beauty of the drive back to Marrakech.
