Full description

Experience the beauty of the Ourika Valley up-close on this full-day scenic tour from Marrakesh, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city for the day. The Ourika Valley is the closest day trip from Marrakesh, but it’s not just its convenience that makes it special.

Drive towards the Atlas Mountains, taking in the beautiful landscape of green meadows and authentic 16th and 17th-century Berber villages. If you take your tour on a Monday, you can even stop at a roadside souk. See fruit orchards, vegetable terraces, and villages clinging to the side of hills. Marvel at the labor undertaken by the Berbers who hoisted materials to construct small houses up mountainsides, and work the terraces in a hostile environment. Continue along the valley of palm trees, following the Ourika River. Fruit trees, tiny hamlets, riverside restaurants, and the summer homes of the wealthy will keep you occupied. Go to Setti Fatma to feel the refreshing waters. Feel the spray on your face as you cool down from the African heat, along with the locals of Marrakech who have made it their favorite weekend retreat.

Great value for money! Amazing trip, had a stop at a market which was very cheap. Wish we had longer than 20 mins. Went to an argon oil factory, climbed some mountains to the waterfall. It requires you to be fit as its a bit challenging. Had a nice stop at some shops along the climb. Ate at a restaurant near a river however, it was not the best food. Ended the day with a visit to a traditional home which was nice

The driver mouhammed as well as the guide was professional and very attentive. Bring good water shoes, especially in summer. I went with my 2 daughters (12 and 13) they really liked it. The big one had a little trouble physically but in the end only pleasure. The only negative point is the lack of security for the general public, it is quite dangerous for novices and the less athletic, no security barrier, no markings.

Great experience, thanks also to our guides, Fajr (driver) and Senjahi (guide), very punctual and available right away, as I needed to change money before departure and they diverted the road and Senjahi came with me to make sure the whole. on the way there are two stops, both nice, especially the cooperative with excellent explanation. arrived at the place, Senjahi made sure to take my mom (with walking problems) to the restaurant table and make sure he didn't miss anything, until we returned from the walk to the falls. This with the excellent guidance of Mohammed, a very nice guy. the falls deserve the hard climb, and you can even dive into the cold waters. upon returning from these, we ate with the tables immersed in water. then a nice return to the hotel. overall it is an experience that I recommend, also to cool off from the heat as well as for a great view, and I leave the highest marks.
