An experience not to be missed! After a slight mix up on the meeting point, easily fixed by a quick WhatsApp call to the contact number. We were greeted by our professional guide, Ouiam, with a warm personality & great English, she guided us to the further reaches of the Souk, far from the manic stalls near the square. Arriving at our host Youssef's shop and workshop for 4 hours of the most relaxing concentration... pattern drawing, cutting, gluing and hammering and with Youssef expert guidance... stitching and finishing we left with our amazing his and her's slippers... along with a true experience of Marrakshis hospitality, generosity and a glimpse into the real souk. We'd recommend booking this as a morning activity as it will ease you into the wonderful craziness that is the 'souk', and equip you to embrace the adventure for the rest of the day. Thank you Ouaim, i hope the final year of you EngLit degree goes well, and Youssef thank you for sharing your craftsmanship and passion...
Best activity ever!!!! A brilliant way of spending the morning.. and such a lovely souvenir..
