What People Are Saying About Marrakech

Brilliant day with our informative and fun guide Mohamed

We went to the Atlas Mountains via an Argan women's cooperative with our lovely Berber guide Mohamed who was very informative and interesting about the Berber region and the challenges faced by the people of the Atlas mountains. Our couscous lunch in the home of Rashid, a villager in Idlil was beyond delicious and a walk to the nearby waterfall was quite beautiful. A great day was made even greater by Mohamed's company.

Booked feeling it was expensive & ended feeling I owed them money!

This was an incredible experience unlike any other tour we've done. My teenage daughter & I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was a small group of just 4 people. The van was spacious, comfortable, & cool. Our driver/guide, Abdul, was AMAZING! He was timely, knowledgable, spoke great English, kind, & patient. We stopped many times for photos. He explained history & background info. He connected us with our mountain hike guide, Omar, who was equally wonderful. We had so much fun! The hike up the mountain is a true HIKE, but so worth it for the views & experience. The lunch at the Berber family home was the best tajine I've had in Marrakesh, the family is so sweet, & the view of the mountains while eating is unmatched. I highly recommend this tour! It was truly an unforgettable experience.

One of the best days out. Great experience and so much fun!

This was a great day out. The driver came to pick us up on time from the hotel. Once we reached the falls we were asked if we wanted a guide, we opted to not having one which was the best decision made. We had so much fun walking down to the falls having a boat ride then walking up. Overall I would highly recommend this activity.

Very knowledgeable guide and such nice camels!

Matthieu was an awesome guide....he really was great, putting everyone at ease as we all showed up and got ready to mount our camels. He got us all dressed in our kaftans and headscarves and then told us about his nice camels (which they really were) and then got us all on our camels and then off on our way. The tour is pretty basic and nothing like being in the desert itself, but it's a fun morning activity to "check a box" and learn so much from Matthieu. He really is knowledgeable, having done this work for the past 14years...his English is good and he keeps things informative and entertaining the whole time. They provided water, then hooked us up with delicious mint tea and beignets at the end. He helped us take pictures and video and made the trip entertaining and enjoyable for us all. The van out and back from the camel trek was very slow and we were late because again they said to meet at Club should be "in front of the mosque"....that's much easier for people.

Fantastic experience with an amazing view of the Atlas Mountains

The day started at the great square where we met our driver. The drive in a well climated 4x4 lasted just over 1 hour. On the way we made one stop for a photo and the stop at the Argan Oil shop. We politely declined their offer to buy any goods. Arriving at the village we met our guide Mohammed, who is a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guide. We had a very nice chat and soon arrived at the first village across the river. While you're constantly harassed to buy stuff in Marrakech these guys where very polite. Be prepared to climb and by that I mean actual climbing. anything less than trainers could be very dangerous. On the first waterfall we had enough time to take pictures. The further up we went the rockier the ways got. At some point he'll ask if you want to go further. If you're afraid of heights DON'T go it's very high but with an amazing view. Back at the village you're offered to eat there but it's ok to decline. This trip was nothing short of amazing.
