Full description

Just a short drive from the center of bustling Marrakech, your private hot-air balloon will fly over beautiful countryside, showing you the fascinating contrast between Morocco’s urban and rural areas. Starting your day with early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive 45 minutes out of the city to our balloon launch site. Here you will receive a full pre-flight safety briefing , and have a chance to watch the launch team prepare the balloon for departure.

Once in the air, you will fly between 9 and 15 miles (15-25 km), depending on the wind speed, taking you over a local village and the picturesque surrounding areas. On board, the balloon and during our relaxing flight, enjoy fruit juice along with a choice of traditional Moroccan pastries. The flight will last one hour, and after our gradual descent, you will be taken to the village for mint tea and home-baked bread at a local Berber tent.

Following tea and bread, you will be taken back to Marrakech and dropped off at your hotel. See a new side of Morocco on this luxurious and exciting VIP trip.

The staff we were in contact with were amazing! Our driver Rehman was genuinely lovely and he even shared the same music taste as us for our journey from and back to the Riad! He made us feel very comfortable and looked after us whilst we were at the location with water bottles and ensuring we got out certificates printed correctly! Our pilot Jose was very informative whilst we were in the air and offered to take some incredible pictures of us both. For what we paid, I would have hoped for food that we could actually eat. Both myself and wife do not eat egg and this was unfortunately not accommodated for. Overall, an incredible experience for our first Wedding Anniversary but for what we paid it would have been nice to eat at some point on our trip...
