This was a wonderful tour. I saw things I would have never been able to see on my own and even got to weave a bit of a carpet at a local carpet-maker shop. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend doing this tour as soon as you get to Marrakech so you can have a better feel for the souks when you go out on your own later. There was plenty of time for photos and shopping along the way. I never felt hurried at all. I was travelling solo and the whole group was only 4 people, so ended up making new friends as well.

The guide Mohammed was very nice. They let me try Moroccan breakfast and get a taste of local life. I could see the place where the fire to heat the hammam was set. It was a fun guide to the Medina souk, and it wasn't forcibly taken to a silverware, carpet, or embroidery shop like a guide in other cities in Morocco, but to all members of the tour He asked me if there was a store I would like to go to or a product I want to buy, so I was very happy to avoid wasting time. He took me to a cafe at the end of the tour and was healed.

Highly recommend this tour. Mohamed was an excellent guide. It is so much more than a walk around the souks. We explored the medina, learned about the history and culture of the area and met local artisans before really exploring the markets. No pressure to buy at all. The souks are overwhelming so I would definitely say a guided tour, at least on your first visit, is a good idea and worth every penny.
