Full description

Experience the beauty of the Ourika Valley up-close on this full-day scenic tour from Marrakesh, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city for the day. The Ourika Valley is the closest day trip from Marrakesh, but it’s not just its convenience that makes it special.

Drive towards the Atlas Mountains, taking in the beautiful landscape of green meadows and authentic 16th and 17th-century Berber villages. If you take your tour on a Monday, you can even stop at a roadside souk. See fruit orchards, vegetable terraces, and villages clinging to the side of hills. Marvel at the labor undertaken by the Berbers who hoisted materials to construct small houses up mountainsides, and work the terraces in a hostile environment. Continue along the valley of palm trees, following the Ourika River. Fruit trees, tiny hamlets, riverside restaurants, and the summer homes of the wealthy will keep you occupied. Go to Setti Fatma to feel the refreshing waters. Feel the spray on your face as you cool down from the African heat, along with the locals of Marrakech who have made it their favorite weekend retreat.

Our driver Abdelhak Hadek, was excellent, professional, and very respectful. He picked us up on time and drove us during snow through Ourika Valley, and Setti Fatima. We felt safe with him and would recommend him again. Our local guide who did the seven cascade hike was Mohammed was also very knowledgeable and helpful. We were not prepared to hike through the snow but he was so helpful and respectful. Highly recommend him for ladies only groups.

Fantastic day today. Picked up on time our guides were knowledgeable and patient, two adults and two teenagers, recommended to wear sensible shoes and clothes and have some physical abilities as it is some way.. The food in the restaurant by the river was simply stunning with wild monkeys .. such a wonderful day… Thank you

Great day for an incredibly inexpensive price. We did so many activities in the 11 hour day! Watched/attempted clay making, argon stop, Berber house, hike to the falls, tea by the falls, the Berber market (Monday). Well worth $15.90! Plus tipping along the way. The hike was strenuous, but not a big deal for anyone not obese or extremely limited.
