our guide was brilliant. I thought I had his name but didn't get it. it was a very wet day and he took great care making sure we didn't slip on steps etc. He also showed us the waterfall from the beautiful hotel as hiking was impossible.
Great way to see another side of Marrakesh. The falls were beautiful even if the recent rainfall had resulted in clay sullied water. Our driver was friendly and careful and the mini bus modern and comfortable. The transport time is quite long so take a book. Our guide was pleasant and informative but he did leave four people behind after lunch so not the most attentive. The walk is short but steep and uneven in some places. Sensible shoes are a must - most people wore trainers. Lunch although not included is basic but traditional and tasty. You are not obliged to eat.

Full description
Embark on a full-day tour to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech. Learn about Berber culture as you explore the land. Descend winding trails and admire stunning views of the falls on a boat ride.
Begin with pickup from your hotel or riad, before departing for one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North Africa, located 93 miles (150 km) north of Marrakech. As you arrive in the village of Ouzoud, admire views of the cascades that plunge 360 feet (110 meters) into the pool below. Follow your local guide through olive groves to an argan oil co-operative and learn about Berber culture. Make the most of the opportunity to admire the views and take photos. Continue down a network of trails to a viewpoint where you can buy fresh orange juice. Board a traditional boat for a short ride on the pool at the bottom of the waterfalls. Then, enjoy a late, Berber lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the falls.
In the mid-afternoon, climb a series of stairs out of the valley for your transfer back to Marrakech.

- Be prepared for a moderate-level hike with steep and uneven paths from the top to the bottom of the waterfalls. Suitable footwear is recommended
- Lunch is not included in the tour price. Your guide will recommend a restaurant with waterfall views where you can enjoy a meal with the group for about €10 per person. The meal usually includes tagine, salad, bread, olives, fruit, and water. during summer, due to high demand, prices may increase to €12-€13. You’re welcome to explore other dining options if you prefer
- Travel time is 3 hours each way, including a stop for stretching and restrooms, with 4 hours to enjoy in Ouzoud Falls
- Wild monkeys inhabit the trees around the waterfalls. Please refrain from touching or feeding them, but feel free to observe and take photos
