Very good experience if you spend several days in Marrakech to escape the heat of the city. Very nice ride. You are not obliged to buy anything from the cooperative if you do not want to. Essaouria a fishing village more relaxed than Marrakech. I recommend taking a jacket or scarf as it is very windy (even if you go in August). We ate in a restaurant in a square (we decided not to eat in the two that the guide recommended) and it was super good and cheap (45dh salad menu, grilled sardines and dessert). Recommendable!!

Essaouira definitely worths the trip. It's a very nice town, on the sea, with a totally different vibe compared to Marrakesh. I loved it. Small enough to be visited in one day. The transfer was good but you have to keep in mind that this is not a guided tour, the guide will explain just few things and we were a very big group as we were put together with other tourists cars. So you will mostly have time to go around by yourself, which might be nice but I wish I had more explanations from the guide and with a smaller group.
