Full description

Depart Marrakech at 09:00 and travel by private vehicle to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Go to the village of Asni for the start of your adventure. After an approximately 40-minute drive, switch to a camel and ride through apple orchards, juniper forests and local villages. Spend about 2 hours on camel back before a 10-minute walk to lunch. Enjoy a welcome mint tea break at a local home. Get a nice view of the surrounding scenery from the roof terrace. Then, take another 10-minute stroll back to your waiting vehicle. Journey back to Marrakech via a different route for alternative views. Pass through the Kik Plateau, famed for its stunning landscape, beautiful views of the mountains and abundance of flowers in the spring. See the reservoir of Lalla Takerkoust before you arrive back in Marrakech at the end of the day.

If you have 1 day to spend on a trip around marrakech, then this is perfect! You can ride on a camel for about 40 minutes, walk through several berber villages and besides waterfalls and mountains. The friendly guide Abdull (He is the best) will lead the way and tell you some facts about the villages and culture. Also he will take you to a place where they make you some delicious berberfood. All in all, it’s a perfect day out around Marrakech!

The tour was great, very nice guide and driver, beautiful scenery. We would recommend it anytime. However, our tour did not match the description on the website: We had a longer hike in the mountains, some of which included steep climbs, but only about 30 minutes camel ride. Everything was perfect for us!

We showed up to the pickup point late since we were mistaken on where to be picked up. Houssain made sure to send the van to wherever we were, even though it was 45 minutes after the pickup time. We were also asked when and where we needed to be dropped off and the day was entirely accommodated around our schedule. I’ve never been more impressed with a trip like this. The entire day was amazing from camels to the food. Highly recommended.
