It was believed that if the egg broke, the city of Naples would fall into ruin. 2. Lungomare Caracciolo As you sail along, you can admire one of the most striking views of the Mediterranean, overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. 3. Posillipo, famous for its historic villas and natural caves where we will stop for a swim. "Posillipo" from the Greek "pausilypon," meaning "which makes sorrow cease," a testament to the serenity the place has offered since ancient times. 4.
