Highly recommend using the Express Bus to get into Mestre from the Airport. I ordered my tickets online, a little over €8 per ticket. As you walk out the airport main doors the bus stop is across the road and really well sign posted. There was a bus waiting, we put our suitcases in the hold, showed our tickets to the driver on our phones and climbed aboard. Be prepared to have a free for all to get on the bus as it was busy. Every man for themselves :) . The bus was on its way within minutes. It took around 15mins to get to Mestre bus station. Picked up our luggage from the hold and we were off! Honestly it was so slick and easy I cannot recommend this mode of transport enough!! I was going to pay for a private taxi to transport us to Mestre, no need, save yourself from paying the €35-60... book your tickets from the website. show them to the driver and you're good to go! Save your € for extra Gelato! 🍦😉
