Our Kayak tour shows the beauties of a wonderful location, touching part of the places where scenes of the famous secret agent 007 - No Time to Die were shot. The tour takes place mainly in the northernmost part of Maratea, or Aquafredda. Starting from Luppa Beach, better known as Gabbiano Beach, after a brief briefing on the Kayak, we will head north along the cliffs until we reach the most beautiful and characteristic of Maratea. Among the many, we can mention the beach of Crivi one of the most beautiful of the Tyrrhenian/ Lucanian coast because it is nestled among the rocks with a dense and lush vegetation. We will continue until the midnight canal, where there are small beaches accessible only by sea with a succession of wonderful caves. Just above is the road overhanging the sea where the scenes of the chase of James Bond were filmed.

Your tour starts from the highest part of the city, Mount San Biagio. Here you can admire in all its beauty the statue of Christ the Redeemer, a symbol not only of the city of Maratea but of the whole region of Basilicata. The statue of Maratea is 21 meters tall, with a 19-meter arm and a face measuring 3 meters. The statue was made of reinforced concrete covered with a mixture of white cement and Carrara marble, and was created by the artist Bruno Innocenti in 1965. After admiring the statue, your tour continues to the nearby Basilica of San Biagio, patron saint of the town. Popular tradition has it that this church was born by adapting to the Christian cult. The most important work you will discover in the interior is the fresco of the 15th century, which portrays Madonna with a Child, commonly called Madonna of Pomegranate. The tour then continues through a Medieval village, complete with ancient houses with arches and divided only by narrow lanes and small squares paved in local stone.
